Very friendly, careful and quick service, very good food!

Cannot recommend. Slow service Food nothing special to write home about.

The portions were reasonable for the price on the first evening, and halved the following evening. It doesn't have to be. Then you noticed that you were being withdrawn. It was very tasty in terms of taste.

Great food, sophisticated / tasty served. And no iceberg lettuce. Service staff correct, fast, friendly. We loved it.

We stopped at lunchtime and had an excellent meal. Sitting on the guest terrace only the street bothers a bit.

We have just finished eating and have to say yes, I can only recommend it. Very tasty food and above all, there is the senior portion that you get when you are not so hungry.

It was delicious ... prices are anointed as it should be for a tourist magnet like Moritzburg but if you get your food the pirtion is appropriate for the price ... but unfortunately you don't know that beforehand.

The price is an absolute cheek. For a schnitzel with potatoes just under 20 € borders on usury. All drinks are overpriced and € 4.20 for a large soft drink are absolutely outrageous. The food was okay, but the sauce was lumpy and for the overpriced prices at least a small side salad could have been included. I absolutely cannot recommend a visit to this restaurant and can only tell you that you would be better off in any snack bar.

The waiting time for the food was very short for a Monday during the holiday season and the food was tasty. However, the portions of the main meals are rather small - if you come very hungry, you may not be full. In any case, I didn't. The children's portions are really small - I would say they are only sufficient for kids up to 10 years of age.

Always tasty, super friendly staff. We come here more often every year and can only recommend it.

Were at the inn today and loved the food. The staff is super friendly. Special requests are also accepted and implemented. And I think the price-performance ratio is very good. Update 08/07/2020 I was back in the inn and I have to say it was very nice again. The food was again absolutely to be recommended.

A great, small inn - rustic furnishings and tasty dishes ^^ The interior decoration is based on the hunting castle Moritzburg ?. The menu has a lot to offer Service was bright and friendly ^^ The price is at the top of what you would expect. That was the game goulash, but the best thing I've eaten in a long time. Sat in the beer garden for a quarter of an hour today, Wednesday afternoon, and saw no waitress. My wife checked in the dining room and found no staff. Some of the guests at the other tables still had food and some had empty glasses. When we got in the car because we didn't want to wait any longer, we saw a waiter coming out. Too late, we drank our coffee in a neighboring bakery.

We went to dinner with 6 people a few days ago. The service was quick and friendly. My wife and I had the forester's pan. The taste was very good, but a little too little sauce. A salad plate would also have been nice. My son had game goulash. It also tasted good, but had complained that there were only 3 pieces of meat on the plate.

We were there for lunch on Saturday and with luck we got a seat. The decor is very cozy and lives up to the name. The service was quick, very nice and everything worked out. The food came in the usual time frame and tasted great and the size of the portions was great. Gladly again ? ??

Gasthof Forsthaus in Moritzburg, everything fits here. Super comfortable and tastefully decorated. A log fire crackles in the winter. A large grandfather clock shows the time. Very nice, courteous and fast service, absolutely professional. A nice menu with a good variety. Fish, meat, vegetarian. Everyone will find something there. The prices are right. Great food and a pleasant atmosphere round off a relaxed evening. People like to come back here. We say thank you ... Update August 2019 Apparently a lot has changed in the forester's house! Those who have not reserved a table are simply left standing in the restaurant. No good evening, no speech. The waiter walked past us grinning three times! Therefore, no further recommendations can be given! Therefore only one star!

Wow! Outstanding service and food! Recommend by the staff at the Hotel Sonnenhof, which we stayed at; their advise was spot on! Quality and quantity of food is fantastic and the apple strudel for dessert was incredible! Highly recommend!
